Olivelo
What you see
The world looks like it has been dipped in olive oil in full sun. Warm, grounded, slightly golden. It flattens visual noise and makes bright scenes restful. In dim light it goes muddy, which is why LVB says to wear it in sun.
The physics in one breath
Olive transmits the green and yellow middle of the spectrum and dims both ends, red and blue. Our eyes are most sensitive to that middle, so the scene stays bright while losing contrast at the extremes.
What the brand says
An exclusive olive green, a blend of green and yellow that reminds one of virgin pressed olive oil. LVB notes that good sunlight is needed for this color to come alive. Loving Victorious Beings, victoriousbeings.com
Where it shines
Mondello beach (hard noon sun, white sand). The brightest world here. Olivelo needs this much light to come alive; Rosa shows how little it takes to soften glare.
Wear note
LVB's own FAQ asks you to keep Color Therapy wear to about 30 minutes a day, never to drive in them, and to remember they are not sunglasses. For wellness use only; not a medical device.
